By using Splitra, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Splitra mobile application and website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all of these terms, do not use the service.
2. Description of Service
Splitra is a collaborative tool designed to help users track and split shared expenses with friends and groups, including multi-currency group expenses, refunds, settlements, and optional receipt attachments. Important notice: Splitra is a tracking tool only. We do not process actual payments, money transfers, or financial transactions. Any settlement of balances must be handled by users externally.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, provided through our authentication providers, and for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Privacy
Your use of Splitra is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect data, including receipt photos, product analytics, and third-party service providers.
5. Subscriptions
Splitra offers a "Pro" subscription available on a monthly or yearly basis that unlocks premium features, including unlimited groups, receipt photo uploads for expenses and refunds, and data export (PDF/CSV). These subscriptions are purchased and managed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Billing & Renewal: Payment is charged to your iTunes or Google Play account at confirmation. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- How to Manage or Cancel: You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time in your account settings.

Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions > Splitra > Cancel Subscription
Manage iOS SubscriptionsAndroid (Google):
Play Store > Profile > Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > Splitra > Cancel subscription
Manage Android Subscriptions - Refunds: All payments are handled by Apple or Google. Refund requests must be submitted directly to the respective store and are subject to their policies. Splitra does not process refunds directly.
- Feature Changes: We reserve the right to modify "Pro" features at any time to improve the service.
6. User Responsibilities
You agree to use Splitra only for lawful purposes. You are solely responsible for:
- Providing accurate information regarding expenses.
- Uploading only receipt images or other content that you have the right to share.
- Avoiding unnecessary sensitive personal information in receipt photos or shared expense records.
- Understanding that group content, including receipt attachments, may be visible to other members of the same group.
- Respecting the privacy of other members in your groups.
- Managing your settlements with other users.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Splitra—including but not limited to the logo, design, and code—are the exclusive property of Splitra and are protected by international copyright and trademark laws.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Splitra is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not guarantee that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted. We are not responsible for any inaccuracies in calculations or data loss.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Splitra shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to financial loss or disputes between users, arising from your use of the service.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Splitra at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or our business interests.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of Splitra after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
