Your main dashboard provides a global overview across all your groups:
- Total Balance: Your net standing across all groups (Positive means you're owed money; Negative means you owe).
- You Owe: The total amount you currently owe to others across all active groups.
- You are owed: The total amount others need to repay you across all active groups.

Inside a specific group, the figures help you track spending for that context alone:
- Total Spent: The complete sum of all expenses recorded by the group.
- Your Spending: Your individual portion of the group's total expenses.
- Group Balance: Exactly how much you specifically need to pay or receive to settle up with this group.
How does Splitra handle cent-accuracy? expand_more
Splitra calculates expenses to the exact cent ($0.01). In cases where a bill can't be split perfectly, our system handles the remaining cent to ensure the group's math always balances perfectly.
Example: Splitting $100.00 among three people results in two people owing $33.33 and one person owing $33.34.
Why does the app suggest I pay someone I don't directly owe? expand_more
Splitra uses a smart settlement engine to **minimize the number of transactions**. Instead of everyone paying each other small amounts, the app optimizes payments so the fewest number of transfers settle the entire group's debt.
